Food Express was started in 1983 by Walter, Joanna and Kevin Keeney. The original core business was the transportation of bulk corn starch from Stockton CA to points in the Pacific Northwest and back hauling bakery flour to central California Points.
Over the years the business has grown from an initial 7 tractor/trailer combinations to a current total of over 300 tractors and 450 trailers. While bakery flour and corn starch remain a very important part of our current business we have expanded into many other commodities…

Food Express operates food grade pneumatic trailers, Vacuum pneumatic trailers, Sugar pneumatics. Services include local delivery, 48 state dispatch, rail car unloading and much more!
